Sarah McGonigal
Hello Kimberley! My name is Sarah McGonigal, and I am the other half of Mountain & Pestle Pharmacy. I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 2014. I have been practicing rural pharmacy ever since graduating, but was lucky enough to move to Kimberley in 2017.
Since moving to the Kootenays, my husband and I have had 2 little rugrats that take a lot of our time and energy. When I’m not working, you can find me outdoors with my family. Although a bit more challenging with 2 littles under 4 years, we love to get out hiking, biking, camping, skiing and adventuring as much as possible. We absolutely love this community and surrounding area, and I am beyond excited to be part of the business community here.
I am excited to get to know more wonderful people from this community, and to help them live their best Kootenay life. Please stop by and say hello!
Carley Frasca
Hi, I’m Carley! I am a pharmacist and one of the masterminds behind Mountain & Pestle Pharmacy! I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2020 and have been living and working in the Cranbrook area since. I grew up in Golden and love everything the Columbia Valley has to offer! With that's being said, owning a pharmacy in Kimberley is a dream come true.
My favourite part of being a pharmacist is getting to know my patients and helping them through their health journeys. I look forward to getting to know many Kimberley residents and assisting them with their medication needs.
When I’m not being a legal drug dealer, you’ll probably find me enjoying time outdoors with my dog Penny, spending time with family and friends, hiking, skiing, or paddle boarding. I’m excited to be a part of the Kimberley community – I can tell it’s a good place to be!
